On Tuesday night, comedy legend Don Rickles arrived at the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to great applause, as the audience showered the legend with praise.

At almost 90-years-old Rickles was as sharp as ever, ripping Fallon for his recent hand injury, telling the audience that he had made the injury up.

Despite ridiculing Fallon for his youthful exuberance, Rickles did take some time to praise the comedian, telling him that he was one of the funniest impressionists he’d ever know.

“You’re the energy, you don’t have to keep it up,” Rickles told Fallon, before ripping his injury again.

“Tomorrow night you’ll come out with your neck wrapped!”
